Program Information

Little Buds is a half-day enrichment program designed for curious young artists ages 3-5. Young artists experience art and nature through hands-on play and exploration of the Park. Activities include seasonal art projects, sculpture walks, creek exploration, hiking, music and movement, reading, special guests, family field trips, and plenty of play. Small class sizes and incredible teacher-student ratios allow for a safe, open-ended early childhood education experience.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. – noon
Check-in: 8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m.
$370/artist/month; $320/sibling/month* + third party processing fees

Registration is ongoing; artists may join at the start of any month from September through May. The program includes seasonal family field trips and monthly family art parties. You may register for all sessions at once or register monthly. Maximum capacity: 12 artists. All artists must be able to independently use the restroom.

The monthly fee includes all artmaking materials. A packing list of personal items will be noted in the Little Buds Family Handbook, which will be emailed to you after we’ve received your registration. Families will also receive access to the Family Folder, which includes a monthly schedule that notes important dates, such as Winter and Spring Breaks, field trips, and family art parties.

We require written permission to allow medications on site, and for staff to help administer those medications. We highly encourage caregivers to administer medications when schedules allow. You will be contacted by staff if any unauthorized medications are found on site. You are responsible for contacting us with any changes to your registration form after it has been submitted.
